Tim serves as Vice President, Strategic Planning for QR Energy. He is responsible for the firm’s reserves, budgeting, asset planning and asset performance tracking efforts. Tim has more than 25 years of experience in technical, commercial and financial roles in the oil and gas industry.

 

Tim served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Credo Petroleum, a NASDAQ listed independent E&P Company and Vice President of Exploration, Exploitation and Development for Huber Energy. In both roles, Tim was responsible for the geoscience, engineering, land, energy marketing, reserves reporting and budgeting functions.

 

He also spent several years at Chevron/Unocal, where he was an Asset Manager in the Thailand Business Unit and managed teams in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Land and Information Technology for U.S. business units. Prior to Unocal, Tim was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company. He began his career with Exxon in Los Angeles and Midland.

 

Tim has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
