Rick serves as the Chairman of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Audit and Conflicts Committees on QR Energy’s Board of Directors. He is a Managing Member of Consolidated Oil & Gas, LLC and Consolidated Property Interests, LLC, both of which he co-founded in 2008-2009. He also serves on the board of Forge Energy.

Rick has more than 35 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Devonshire Energy. He served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Howell Corporation and he was the Chief Executive Officer of Voyager Energy Corp, which he co-founded, prior to Voyager being acquired by Howell.

He also served in executive and managerial roles at Burlington Resources and managerial and technical roles at Mobil Oil, Inc. and Superior Oil, Inc. He began his career in 1974 as a production and reservoir engineer with Amoco Production Company.

Rick holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University.
